Chapter 2

Serra’s POV

Leon kept his promise. He never brought up another word about it.

The whole thing almost felt finished.

Until the day the files needed to be delivered.

The restroom door stood slightly open. Pushing it brought the sight of Rex just finished with training, nothing but a dark towel wrapped low around his hips. Water still rolled down from his collarbone. The small space left almost no room to turn.

Retreat was the first instinct.

His hand settled on the small of my back instead.

Heat from his palm soaked through the fabric. The pressure stayed light, yet strong enough to block any step backward. The tip of his nose brushed the side of my neck, breath sliding across skin as he spoke low.

“Leon already gave the choice back to you. What about you? Still gonna keep pretending?”

A strange electric tingle rushed through me all at once, starting where his hand rested and spreading upward in a slow wave. My nipples tightened. The muscles in my thighs loosened without permission. Fresh wetness gathered between my legs, sudden and urgent.

I shoved hard against his chest.

“I already refused. Respect that.”

Rex let go.

His thumb still dragged slowly across the inside of my wrist, the touch feather-light. A quiet, almost amused sound left his throat.

“Then keep refusing. Just know the next time you walk in alone, I won’t promise to stop.”

No answer came. I turned sideways and left the restroom faster than I meant to.

All evening I kept my distance from Leon.

Night still brought his mouth down.

The kiss ran deep, tongues sliding together, breath mixing. His hand traveled upward along the side of my waist. I rose to meet him on purpose, as if that motion alone could bury everything that happened earlier.

He stayed soft.

The soft weight of him pressed against my thigh with zero response. A low curse left his mouth. His forehead dropped to my shoulder while his breathing turned rough and uneven.

Silence was the only reply.

Once he rolled onto his side, back turned, the room settled into quiet again. His breathing evened out. The line of his shoulders loosened.

I stared at that back for a long time.

Only then did my fingers slide slowly into my underwear.

The first touch of slick wetness brought shame ahead of any pleasure.

Leon lay right there, breathing steady, his back nearly brushing my arm. Yet my fingers still pushed inside while he slept.

Two fingers eased in. I clenched around them at once, greedy. Eyes stayed shut. Every movement stayed as small as possible, yet each shallow thrust still made the truth clear: the one doing this was the wife, and the husband slept only inches away.

My mind refused to stay on him.

Instead it put Rex there—pinning me against the restroom wall. The towel hit the floor. The hot blunt head of him rested against my already soaked entrance, never pushing in, only grinding slow and deliberate. Every pass made me softer, hungrier to be driven all the way in.

Fingers sped up to match the fantasy.

In reality each tiny shift still rocked the mattress. I forced the motion slower and shallower, terrified of waking the man beside me. Shame rolled in like a tide again and again: my fingers were pretending to be the brother’s cock while Leon lay only centimeters away.

Pleasure built fast and brutal.

I buried my face hard into the pillow, teeth clamped on the fabric. A soft whimper still slipped free.

The entire body locked tight.

Breath held. Ears strained.

Leon’s breathing skipped one beat. His shoulder shifted almost too small to notice. Everything froze in place, fingers still buried deep, heart slamming against my ribs. Only after his breathing returned to steady did the motion dare to continue.

Climax hit with the pillow clamped between my teeth, every sound forced back down. Thighs shook hard. Wetness spilled over my fingers and the skin of my thighs.

What stayed sharpest in that second was not the pleasure. It was Leon, so close, back turned, completely unaware that I had come beside him on the fantasy of his own brother.

Eyes opened afterward to the dark ceiling.

Between my thighs the wetness kept seeping out while my body cooled fast.

Shame lasted longer than the pleasure. It sat on the skin like a thin sheet of ice that refused to melt.

Leon’s breathing stayed even, deep enough now that sleep had finally taken him.

I pulled my hand free and slowly closed it into a fist in the dark.
